FAIRFORD MEDICAL delivers its Mobile Siemens Avanto TIM+DOT MRI to the Amundsen-Scott base for an interim rental at the Geographic South Pole for a bio-diversity research project.

Admittedly, this will be mainly scanning penguines and other Antarctic birds as the seals are a bit too fat to squeeze into the MRI!
