Despite the freezing weather, snow flurries and heavy winds, FAIRFORD MEDICAL’s latest custom designed and built Relocatable CT unit being delivered to Royal Preston Hospital on time to start full Digital Autopsy service for the Coroner’s Office in mid-April 2018.
The Relocatable Digital Autopsy Facility was built by W H Bence in Bristol and fitted with a fully refurbished GE Lightspeed VCT 64 CT system with a new X-Ray Tube fitted at the HEALTH IMAGING SOLUTIONS LTD (HISL) engineering and refit facility in Dinnington S Yorks. HISL are Project Managing the site preparation and works on behalf of iGene London who will provide the service, FAIRFORD MEDICAL who provides the equipment and technical services and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the customer.
