Fairford Leasing’s associated MRI and CT maintenance company Health Imaging Solutions Ltd have successfully data wiped, de-installed, deep cleansed and removed today the Siemens Sensation 16 CT Scanner and all its various cables and attached equipment. HISL were helped in this process by our logistics and transport partner Simon Hegele Ltd who supplied the transport frames to wheel the CT out of the hospital and the transportation for all the equipment. This system has been acquired by Fairford Medical for onward refurbishment rental, lease or sale.
Health Imaging Solutions is proud to have been awarded the de-installation contract to remove one of Leeds St James’, Siemens Somatom Sensation 16 CT scanners from the Celia Craven wing. The deinstallation of the full system, which included the primary water chiller, were removed over a two-day period. The de-installation project was managed by Wayne Goring, Technical Services Director. The de-installation was led by Senior Product Specialist, Paul Playford and the system was transported by our certified Logistics Partner, Simon Hegele.
The de-installation process included, full patient data removal with certification, risk assessments, method statements, dilapidation surveys, issue of project programmes and a deep clinical clean and decontamination of the system to ensure no transfer of infection. HISL were delighted to be be working with such a key NHS Trust. Ronnie Hood, Senior Business Processes and Procurement Manager from the Leeds NHS Trust was delighted with the work carried out. Health Imaging Solutions is a new medical imaging, vendor-neutral maintenance company offering services to the NHS and the private sector. HISL offers maintenance of CT, MRI, XRAY and US imaging products, de-installation, installation and relocation services, technical equipment rental and project management services including turnkey design and build solutions.
